Mehmet Sandal is an organic food producer that is passionate about crafting the best products with organic produce and the traditional recipes of the locals from Karaman - Ayrancı region in Turkey.

Mehmet Sandal, the owner, wanted to combine his desire to preserve traditional tastes with his longing for the land where he was born and raised. He wanted to bring the traditional and natural flavors of the Karaman-Ayrancı region beyond the region’s borders using a high-quality artisanal production approach.

WHAT WE DID

As Ba'ndo, we repositioned this unique value offered by Mehmet Sandal to the market. Then we developed a brand strategy that will add meaning to Mehmet Sandal's brand value, to create a distinctive place in the minds of the artisan food lovers.

From rebranding to packaging, we wanted to emphasize the childlike joy at the brand's core and portray it with elegance and sincerity found in artisanal food production. We created our illustrations and our digital media almost like cartoons with whimsical aesthetics and lots of color.

No matter how old we get, flavors and smells can bring us back to our childhood. That's it! One of the most important reasons for me to enter the food industry in the land where I was born today, is my longing for the past and my desire to keep traditional tastes alive.
