Every great idea that starts with a spark catches fire at MAD. At Ba’ndo, our role is to identify the roots of creativity and create inspiring brands. MAD is one of the projects we encountered during our journey of brand creation. We can define MAD as a digital news portal providing insights into the worlds of creativity, marketing, and design, serving as a valuable resource for industry professionals and design enthusiasts. While designing MAD's story, we also aimed for it to be a learning platform and meeting point for a creative community.
BRAND IDENTITY
If we had to summarize MAD's brand identity in one word, it would be 'bold.' But it is not just that; it is also passionate and rebellious! MAD's brand story is about the passion and creativity behind every design, advertising campaign, and marketing strategy. We are all interested in the three main pillars of marketing, advertising, and design, and we love discovering works that cross the boundaries between these disciplines. We leveraged the power of design to explain these processes and their extraordinary results. We thought of the MAD logo not just as a typographic solution but as a character with a soul. MAD is a bit crazy, a bit angry, but very curious!
With a minimal and striking design, we created an expression that highlights the passion and creativity of our content. The sharp lines and striking details of our logo best reflect MAD's spirit. It is both solid and flexible, offering us endless possibilities. The logo, with its retro style, warmly greets all the beautiful things of the past. It has a bit of an 80s vibe, a bit of pop art, a bit of today and tomorrow. This gives our brand a unique flavor.
MAD MOVEMENTS
MAD's brand identity comes to life with our animations! To create these, we used the frame-by-frame technique, considered the ancestor of animation. This technique allowed us to create a sense of originality and a retrospective view that suits the spirit of MAD. The lines used in our icon language are sharp and clear, just like our logo. This clarity best reflects the essence and passion of the brand.

We had previously worked with Ba'ndo on different projects. We wanted to work with them for our new brand MAD as well. One of the biggest advantages of working with Ba'ndo is that the team shares your vision and internalizes the projects. You're not just working with an agency that makes a difference with design, but also with a team that is not afraid to ask you the right questions to expand the world in your mind. The reason I say team is that throughout the process, Ba'ndo became a partner in the project, not just an agency. In our first discussion about brand identity, we received a project that was far beyond what we had imagined. I hope the enjoyable outcome of this collaboration inspires everyone.
